This website is operated by Challenge Central Limited under the Trek the City brand. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Using the website

You may use this website for lawful, personal or legitimate business purposes. You must not misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious material, interfere with its operation, scrape it unreasonably or use its content in a misleading or unlawful way.

Information on the website

We aim to keep information accurate and useful, but routes, availability, prices, images and service details may change. General website information is not a substitute for professional, medical or safety advice. Confirm important details before relying on them.

Walking challenges and safety

Walking routes and city environments may include roads, steps, uneven surfaces, weather exposure and other hazards. Users are responsible for assessing their own fitness, ability, equipment and prevailing conditions, following applicable rules and taking reasonable care. Organised events may be subject to separate booking and participant terms.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website and its text, branding, graphics, route materials, photographs and design are owned by or licensed to Challenge Central Limited. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, sell, publish, alter or commercially exploit them without written permission.

Availability and liability

We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content or events outside our reasonable control.

Challenge Pack purchases

A Trek the City Challenge Pack is a digital product for the city selected at checkout. The intended contents are the relevant route link, GPX file, challenge guidance and completion instructions described on the product page at the time of purchase. One eligible collectible city pin is included as a completion reward for each purchased pack, subject to successful order matching and completion verification. Collectible city pins are not sold separately.

Digital Challenge Packs are intended to be supplied to the email address used at checkout after successful payment. Customers should contact us promptly if access has not arrived or a supplied file or link does not work. The physical collectible city pin is currently available for delivery to a valid UK address only. Approved claims are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days and standard UK delivery normally takes a further 2–5 working days.

Digital-content cancellation

Consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. Where you expressly ask us to begin supplying a digital Challenge Pack immediately and acknowledge that this ends your cancellation right once supply begins, you will not then have a right to cancel simply because you change your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, materially misdescribed or not supplied as agreed. Before immediate digital delivery is enabled, checkout must obtain this express consent and acknowledgement separately from general acceptance of terms.

If digital supply has not begun, contact us promptly to request cancellation. If there is a technical problem, we will first try to provide a working file, corrected link or reasonable support. Any refund, repair, replacement or price reduction required by law remains available.

Completion reward claims

A claim must use the purchaser email and complete order or receipt reference, identify the matching city and include the completion information requested on the claim form. One pin entitlement may be used only once. We may ask for further information where an order, city or completion cannot reasonably be verified. There is no published deadline for submitting an eligible pin claim at launch. We may introduce a claim period for future purchases only where it is clearly disclosed before purchase and included in the applicable terms.

If we send the wrong collectible city pin, or it arrives damaged, we will replace it without charge. Where an item is reasonably considered lost after the stated delivery period and the customer supplied the correct address, we will arrange a replacement without charge. If the customer supplied an incorrect address, a returned item may be resent after additional postage is paid; where an item is lost as a result, any replacement may be offered at the actual replacement and postage cost following staff review. We will not charge automatically.

A refund, reversal or chargeback invalidates any unused pin entitlement associated with that purchase. An already fulfilled reward will not be automatically revoked and any exceptional dispute will be reviewed manually. These provisions do not affect statutory rights.

Organised events

Professionally organised events are separate from the self-guided Challenge Pack and are governed by the booking and cancellation terms presented for the relevant Challenge Central event.

Changes and governing law

We may revise these terms by updating this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights and jurisdiction protections that apply to them.
